Shree Shree Sarbojanin Durga Puja , Ashoka Park (Defence Civilian) , Visakhapatnam started it's humble journey way back in 1995 . A group of passionate Bengali families residing around Meghadripeta , Pallava Park , Ashoka Park and other parts of Vizag came together to form this Durga Puja club. Wayback in 1995 , there were handful of bengali Durga Puja pandals around Vizag , Shree Shree Sarbojanin Durga Puja , Ashoka Park came up with an all round performance over the last two decades to create a magic mark of the festivities and each year it just keeps improvising and growing.
Durga Puja just by its name creates nostalgia among the bongs ( bengalis) , A need which pushed the Probasi Bengalis to create this puja has now become a household festivity for all the local communities in Vizag . As our ancient Sanskrit script describes "Vasudhaivya Kutumbakam - The world is one family " becomes the mission statement of Shree Shree Sarbojanin Durga Puja, Ashoka Park. The participation from the local vizagites is a clear symbol of unity & trust which this puja has created over the years.
Durga puja , A five day festive brings so much of togetherness , relives the culture and creates some never lasting memoirs for each and every participant. Each day across Maha Sashti , Maha Saptami , Maha Astami , Maha Navami and Maha Dasami is full of celebration . The unlimited Adda , Sumptuous Bhog , Dazzling Dhunuchi , Cultural programs and above all the divine prayers offered to Maa Durga electrifies the occasion. Keeping the tradition strong , This puja will continue to create and motivate the generations for many more decades.
